PASS PLUS

Beyond the driving test
Every day, 2 under 25's die in road accidents in the UK. Pass Plus gives the opportunity to newly passed drivers to build on the skills that you have learned during your driving lessons. The Structured syllabus includes:
  • in town
  • on rural roads
  • in all weathers
  • on dual carriageways and motorways
  • in the dark
The Pass Plus course can be taken at any time during your driving career but it is mainly aimed at young drivers within a year of passing their test. This is where the biggest reduction in insurance is.

There is no exam or test at the end of the course but you will receive a certificate to say that you have completed your Pass Plus successfully.

This certificate is then presented to your insurers to receive discount on your car insurance.

An awful lot of insurers participate in the Pass Plus scheme. The insurers supporting the Pass Plus scheme are listed below*.
